Vitamin D3 (2000)

The Basics

Vitamin D3 is not only a key nutrient for supporting healthy bones, but it also aids in fighting inflammation, enhances muscle strength, supports healthy insulin function and boosts your immune system.

Vitamin D3 (2000) contains 2,000 IU of vitamin D3 as Cholecalciferol and 200 mcg of vitamin K as Phytonadione, which is included to prevent calcification of the arteries. We recommend it for people whose blood level is above 45ng/ml and who are exposed to adequate sunlight. (Sunlight is an excellent source of vitamin D.)

What it does

What doesn’t it do? Vitamin D is involved in making hundreds of enzymes and proteins—all of which are crucial for preserving health and supporting a disease-fighting immune system. It can interact with and affect more than 2,000 genes in the body, which is why vitamin D deficiency has been linked with so many chronic modern diseases.
